    This format offers a solid introduction to the instrument and builds foundational skills in a focused, accessible session.

    Offered for piano or clarinet

    Best for:
    - Late beginners to intermediate students
    - Learners who want to make faster progress
    - Students preparing for school ensembles or auditions
    - Those who want more time for technique, repertoire, and theory

    A 45-minute lesson allows for deeper exploration of music while still being a great fit for most schedules.

    $25 per lesson | Billed monthly

    This format provides the most in-depth instruction and is ideal for those who are committed to reaching higher levels of musical development.

Everything you need to know before getting started

  • I teach students of all ages, from young beginners to adults. Lessons are tailored to meet each student’s age, experience level, and goals.

  • Yes, having access to your own instrument is important for practicing between lessons. I’m happy to provide guidance on selecting a suitable piano/keyboard or clarinet for your needs and budget.

  • Absolutely! I have experience working with students of all abilities and can adapt lessons to fit their learning style, pace, and needs.

  • Lesson length depends on age, experience, and goals. I recommend that young beginners start with 30 minutes, while older or more advanced students can benefit from longer sessions.

  • I focus on classical technique and repertoire but also incorporate a variety of styles based on student interest, including pop, jazz, and folk.

  • Consistency is key. I recommend students aim to practice 4-5 days a week, even if it’s just 5-10 minutes a day to start. The more you practice, the more progress you’ll see.

  • Yes! I offer a trial lesson so we can get to know each other and see if it’s a good fit.

  • If you need to cancel a lesson, I offer a full refund with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are not eligible for a refund, but I do offer make-up lessons when schedules allow. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate rescheduling whenever possible.

  • Two options: simply fill out my contact form to let me know you're interested and what level you're at, or go ahead and book your initial trial lesson at the bottom of this page.

  • Yes! I offer one recital each spring where students have the opportunity to share what they've been working on in a supportive, low-pressure setting. It’s a wonderful way to build confidence, celebrate progress, and connect with a musical community.

  • Up to you and your child—some kids do great with parental support, while others thrive independently. There is a nice seating area located just outside the teaching space.

  • Absolutely! My lessons are designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills, I’ll tailor the experience to your needs.

  • 30-minute lesson – $20
    45-minute lesson – $25
    60-minute lesson – $30

    Lessons billed monthly at the beginning of each month
