Where it started

Music Has Always Been Part of My Life

I was lucky to grow up in a very musical family in Muskegon, MI. My parents deeply valued music instruction and encouraged me to immerse myself in music from a young age. Whether it was piano and clarinet lessons, playing in the church orchestra, or playing in various ensembles at school, music became a core part of who I was.

The Turning Point

Discovering the Power of Music for Everyone

As I pursued my music degree at Western Michigan University, I realized that music wasn’t just something to be studied—it was something that could change lives. I saw firsthand how it could foster confidence, connection, and personal growth. That realization led me to expand my focus beyond performance, blending education and therapy to make music accessible to all.
